We believe that being a part of a vibrant, active church means having plenty of opportunities to serve both the church and our community. We believe that every church body has many different parts with many different gifts. (1 Cor. 12:12) We want you to be able to use the gifts which God has given you.

LANDSCAPE CREW
Help beautify the church grounds by joining the landscape crew. Do you love the outdoors? Whether you have a green thumb or just enjoy getting your hands dirty, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a visible difference in our community. This crew meets two Saturday mornings a month. You'll get the chance to cultivate an inviting atmosphere around our church. Come join us in shaping the natural beauty that surrounds our space!
Be a part of the culinary art while being in community with a great team led by Brenda Spangler. Volunteers are always needed and must be certified as State Food Service Workers. This team provides catering services in a variety of ways: weddings, funerals, special occasions and meetings, Upward basketball canteen, and community affairs.
Help keep our congregation and building safe by serving on the security staff.

WHERE ELSE CAN YOU USE YOUR GIFTS?
We feel strongly that we should serve the community around us by renovating parks, sending teams to local retirement facilities for visits, or anything else we see the community might need. God calls us to serve in many different creative ways that can only be reached through your individual skills and talents.
