Sonshine School has effectively served the Salem-Keizer community for 30 years providing academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment. Sonshine School offers a comprehensive program for preschool 3′s through 5th grade, featuring Bible-based curriculum. An excellent daycare program is also offered for full-time students as well as before and after school care.

With a proven track record of providing a loving, positive environment, students thrive in building Christian character, while at the same time enjoying academic excellence. Students receive academic training in English, reading, science, math, social studies, physical education, computers, music, Spanish, and Bible.

A large part of the success of Sonshine School is attributed to faculty retention. Serving nearly 200 students, the personal dedication and continuing professional development of the seasoned staff is key to Sonshine’s outstanding reputation in the community. The staff is committed to excellence and providing a safe, nurturing environment which embraces Christian values and lifestyles.

Professional, safe and educational pre-school age and school-age Day Care is offered year round. These classes seek to provide a developmentally balanced curriculum that meets the needs of the individual child in a group environment. Emphasis is placed on the development of Christian values, attitudes, learning skills, and interpersonal relationships.
